Whatever language you’re learning, make sure to build a strong grasp of the basics—foundational knowledge can take you far!

If I had only 1 piece of advice, it would be to make your own projects. Specifically make projects that you are interested in, not just to show to others. You'll almost certainly learn way more by making your own project. For example, a few years ago, I was very frustrated with posting to Twitter, Facebook, Mastodon, etc manually. So I made my own solution. It was intrinsically motivating for me. I think watching many videos and reading books can be helpful. The most helpful is your own projects
