One of the fascinating things I’ve learned as a mom in Luxembourg is just how different nursery (or crèche) life is compared to back home in Nigeria. My older two were in nursery in Lagos and my youngest is in nursery here in Lux. Here, the kids never bring snacks or food from home—everything is provided by a contractor, and it’s all carefully planned out for safety / allergy reasons. In Nigeria, it’s usually the opposite! Moms are so used to packing lunch or snacks for their little ones. 🍎🍞
