How do I find good music there if I don’t read about good music?

In the Mac app there’s some stats kept about number listens to a song. Although, that is your own stat, not the global streams numbers.

…I like being able to see what an artist’s most popular song is, especially if I’m looking into a new artist. It doesn’t stop me from listening to the songs with fewer streams, instead it lets me know what other people have enjoyed and gives me a good starting point.

Apple is keeping score, and that score is part of the algorithm. Just because you can't see it does not mean it isn't there and that Apple isn't just as bad as everyone else.

This is a problem for some of y'all? 🤔 Been using Spotify for yrs and yeah, it suggests Top 10 type stuff and other things, I guess. I don't really pay attention. I have dozens of my own playlists and I often use Smart Shuffle these days to hear what Spotify suggests, and that's about it.
