If we are talking about non-college educated White men, in my many years of experience in working in manufacturing and on hard floors in Illinois, Indiana and Michigan, there is a significant misogyny and racism element present. And I think we cannot run from it. Rape on the factory floor, effectively, is not uncommon. I left LinkedIn because MANY of my former colleagues in labor started openly-expressing shockingly-vile anti-Black and anti-immigrant sentiments. That was like 6 months ago.
