I don't know how people think Trump's economy was anything but a shambles. He had lower job creatin in his first to years than Obama had in his last two. Under his watch, the U.S. lost manufacturing jobs. The trade deficit exploded. The federal deficit exploded. Farmers we in such dire straits due to his tariffs that they had to have a special bailout. Coal production declined and thousands of coal jobs were lost. And that's not even taking into account how badly he fumbled the Covid pandemic.
