Every vendor makes you fill out a questionnaire, do 6284 jumping jacks, and deep dive through their website just to get an email response. And then you have to beg on your hands and knees for a quote :)

As a wedding photographer, it’s difficult for us too. People try to get everything for as cheap as they can (totally fine, I get having a budget) but then complain when they get less quality work. We’re people people too, we need to be able to pay our bills and put food on the table. Running a business isn’t for the faint of heart. It’s hard work. Also, weddings are luxuries, not necessities. If you want high quality, be prepared to pay for it.

The fees!!! Oh your 15 minutes late 25 dollar fee. Oh you didn’t fill out your worksheet on time? 100 dollar fee. Also vendors slamming brides on social media for shit that is out of their control. Not cute.

First of all, it sounds like you’re reaching out to the wrong vendors. If you’re having to jump through hoops, red flag and move on! My direct contact info in on the home page of my website, as well as my entire menu and pricing, including extra charges. When someone submits an inquiry, they don’t receive an automated response. They receive a personal response from me at the most within 24 hours. Once I’ve spoken with a potential client, they will receive a quote within 24 hours.
