Wondered if anyone has any advice for the below?
Person started working for a company in January 2024.
6 Months probation period passes with no update or meeting.
In October 2024, 10 months after starting, employer calls employee into a meeting (due to 3 days off very unwell) and tells them they won't be working there anymore, and failed probation. They tell him, they can't let him leave site, until he signs the probation report.
This doesn't sound right at all to me. Anyone have any ideas?
