We watch two things on the BBC. Only Connect, and University Challenge, at which I'm obligated to mention I beat @moderately_competent_knitter 11 to 6 this week. Only Connect is probably one of the last "proper BBC" shows left on the air. No commercial TV exec. would "green light" it if you pitched it to, say, Dave.
