It's been 10yrs since my deconstruction began, and while I don't think there's a place for me at church anymore, I've never considered atheism. Like the Temple - which started out as a traveling tent, became a structure (b/c the people wanted it that way) that God himself left at one point, and by the end of the OT it was just a building. Yes, Jesus entered it, but he spent way more time in homes and in hillsides. It's a metaphor, not an excuse. I think wandering might be my real place.
