So I'm currently visiting Italy, close to Rome. Can someone please explain to me how I was able to purchase 2 bottles of water each filled with 2 liters (68oz) of water and a 4 pack toilet paper and ONLY pay 2.16 euros... Even with the conversion to dollars it's still nothing. America what are we doing? 🫠

That is a very interesting question, but I assume it has to do with margins of profit that must exist. A recent study I have read, bottled water is one of the most profitable business in the world. If you find the answer, I would love to know as well.

18 小時內	Simona D. simonart_sd96	And actually for an Italian it's still pretty much😂 The supermarket prices are x2 or x3 each year, there's a high cost of living compared to the salaries, stuck and even less than 30years ago. The average salary is still around 1500€. The cost of living is four times as much as just 4 years ago
