Once upon a time, about 2 years ago, I met an author in person who I like and admire. I had a really lovely conversation with them. In that conversation, I mentioned the story I was writing and gave the overall premise. Anyway, last night, I started reading their newest release. And it feels oddly familiar to the story I told them about. And I quite honestly don’t know how I feel about that right now.
