Realised I learn languages better through context - full sentences that encompass vocab and grammar, best if set in a scene. That’s why a lot of my Korean knowledge has come from dramas and variety shows/interviews haha. I definitely don’t always get it the first time, but with repeated sentence patterns and words, new vocab/grammar gets retained. I’ve been trying to learn new vocab with anki, but damn the stand-alone words with no context are really not getting into my head 😫
