Mithrax was paralysed in bed when he sensed a presence. A shadowed hand ripped into his bedding and moved up his body, before the entity lifted its head to reveal a ring of eyes. Nezarec spoke with a chorus of whispers and showed Mithrax a vision of the City burning, Eliksni screaming, and Eido’s corpse. He looked down at his bloody hands, screamed, and shot up. Eido came to check on him, and as she entered, Mithrax saw wisps of Nezarec’s Darkness emanate off the rips in his sheet.
