Why do people like Pinterest so much? It’s just full of stolen art, reshared images, etc… It’s all reposted content from other sources. I used to be super into it when I was in middle school, but now I don’t see the appeal. My journal posts have been reposted there without credit or my consent so many times, and I have to file DMCAs to get them taken down. It’s annoying as hell.

I used to have a very ambiguous general style in my head that was finally able to materialize as I explored pinterest and observed different aesthetics on there, I was finally able to narrow it down to something specific and find exact inspiration. It's such a great tool for visual discovery
