This poster simply concerns me because it’s historically inaccurate and actually needs a better challenge than, “you can’t be punk and x”. My concern is that this kind of response doesn’t deal with them, it pushes them out into a space where they will act freely and the subculture as a whole won’t deal with how to avoid people moving toward this ideological space.
