Se llama la el Peñón de Vélez. Se trata de la frontera más corta del mundo, dividida por una cuerda azul. Este peñón está habitado únicamente por militares que la vigilan 24/7. La historia del Peñón de Vélez de la Gomera se remonta al siglo XVI, cuando fue conquistado por los españoles. Posteriormente perdido durante 42 años bajo la ocupación de un sultanato y recuperado de nuevo en 1564, desde entonces ha estado bajo control español, pese a los asedios y ataques desde Marruecos.
