Create the work you want to attract! I put the effort in to do styled shoots at venues I was interested in and a lot of doors opened that way!

Make friends! Don’t try to live on an island. It’s an industry of connections. I get more referrals from other photographers than possibly anywhere else. If I’m booked, I refer to them. If they’re booked, they refer to me. We comment, discuss, encourage. It’s more fun that way too.
