Dancing before/in between dinner is so interesting to me, I’ve heard of that being common on the east coast! For us it’s typically: entrance-first dance-parent dances-dinner (all courses)-quick toasts (as dinner wraps up)-cake cutting-bouquet toss-open dancing. Guests aren’t getting on the dance floor until all events are finished, that way the energy doesn’t get interrupted. The Jersey way sounds fun though!!
