How do I get this hospital to listen. He was admitted by er Tuesday morning. I had changed his bandages Mon night. His bandages have NOT been changed at all. Same bandages same green junk all over it. I have been asking everyone who comes in, even dr...I'll order it..it's not been ordered. What!! He has staph around wound and in drain. Do you think being in the same dressing for 3 days could be making it worse!! I'm so angry and shaking mad, I'm gonna blow soon. Charge nurse was no help

12 小時內	Elisa Marchand gingeristical	Find out the hospital’s patient advocate number and report the issues to them. If they’re no help, request a transfer to a different hospital.
13 小時內	Ashley Kalkofen ashkalkofen	To be fair wound care most of the time should not be done daily. Optimal wound care is done in intervals of days to promote healing. For wounds to heal we need our body temp to help which every time you remove a dressing you’re slowing down healing to compromised skin. It takes about 4 hours for that uncovered skin to get back up to temp with new dressing. But should be done at least every 2-3 days depending on the severity of drainage.
