I used to enjoy helping out now and again but there seem to be so many of these just now. Some are quite badly damaged. I spent several hours retouching a wartime portrait photo of my aunt, as a gift for my cousin, removing creases, blotches, restoring missing sections, adjusting levels, etc. It's not the work of a moment, if you do it properly.
