I’m way too old to still be dealing with bully moms or mom drama. I have made so many awesome friends in kindy and elementary school that I almost forgot how different the world is in JHS private schools — some of these private school Japanese moms can be straight-up bishes. I invited them for coffee after the event and they whispered and giggled with each other like high school students. To ease the awkwardness, I said, “actually, I don’t drink coffee” and laughed with them. ThreadsJournal
