I went out for a meal last night, with work mates. The two who ordered their food via the app, got their food before the ones who went to the counter to order

But I ordered online to pick up in store so that it would be ready when I got there on purpose. Just because I planned and chose to order in a way that puts me in the queue that’s different than your way doesn’t mean my order is less important than yours. When I order in person I recognize that I will spend more time waiting in the store because there’s a line.

Sbucks is now a counter. Not a cafe.

It’s happening everywhere now - even local takeaway food places you’re in a queue of delivery drivers taking bulk orders. I suppose it’s ‘1st come 1st served’ still but I wish they’d split the preparation areas up as it is frustrating when you’ve gone there especially

It looks like such a miserable job nowadays. The baristas are just working nonstop total assembly line between in-store drive-through and mobile. It's not like corporate gives a shit. They just want more money

I honestly don’t think showing up should make a difference If I place my order from home 5-10 minutes ahead of time, that just means I was more prepared than you When I show up after an appropriate delay, I expect my order should be ready.
