Even as a child, I’ve always been told I’m “mature” for my age, doesn’t help that I also look older than my actual age, LOL. But somehow, after a certain point, that doesn’t continue to feel like a compliment anymore, especially as an adult. I feel like I’m constantly being present, teaching my friends about love, offering valid advice, offering my friendship & care, & never receiving such treatment back.
