This is what I’m wondering about all the time. I’m 50 and when I was on apps. Men as young as 35 were interested. Baffling. Obviously it didn’t work hence I’m still single. And then you have the 20 year olds who lie about age. Oh I’m in 27. But the other experience I’ve had is not many men over 50 liked me much. They prefer younger ladies…

Because biologically young men have more testosterone, but socially these days men are becoming women… I think they keep pairing up out of convenience

Maybe it's always been like this but not socially acceptable. The marriage stereotype was older man with younger wife. And women were labelled spinsters or put out on to the streets if they didn't adhere to marriages or fit that model. Anyone seen the movie Cheri? Why would it only be that older men like dating younger women? Maybe it's the fact we weren't allowed to date younger men openly without shame? Younger men dating older women has always been popular just not allowed by the patriarchy.

In 47 and it’s always been a question of energy for me. I just don’t ‘vibe’ with men my own age. It’s not a trend for me, it’s always been the case. I just avoid those with a mommy issue, but this can happen with older men just the same… simply gotta use discernement. But I find the older I get the more success I have. I’m enjoying it. 🔥

I totally agree with that theory for experiencing it myself! The patriarcal society is collapsing. It is time for the divine feminine to take over again, as it should be. We all need more UNCONDITIONAL LOVE 😍

I think that applies to many of us😊its not just the testosterones but the vibrant young energy, they see us & are vocal with their compliments which is always well appreciated💞 Not ALL men over 45 have lost that side of them but many are always too tired or get too comfortable…So gentlemen, we see you but please make the efforts & don’t let your younger competition take over your women 😅

It's literally because premenopausal women have the same sex drive as men in their 20s 😂😂 It's also not a trend - it's been happening for many, many decades (The Graduate was made in the 60s); it's just traditionally been kept quieter than older men dating younger women

Sounds as good a theory as any. It could also be that us older women are still a little more real than our younger counterparts and guys are looking for real women.
