Or...hear me out...KJV is an ancient form of English that nobody speaks in their normal day to day life. I can read it only because I was "forced" to memorize scripture in KJV from grade 5 to 12. Also I love linguistics so I kind of studied the pattern and can understand/translate to modern English at a glance
