I’m sorry but people spend hours upon hours doing makeup looks, crocheting, drawing, crafting, fishing, writing, reading, painting, climbing, hiking, swimming, sewing etc etc etc etc so why isn’t gaming an acceptable hobby to so many people on here? What is the difference? Just let people do what they love man

Can we start calling people who judge others for gaming a 🚩? Being shitty to people who's hobby doesn't affect you in any way is toxic as hell

People who talk down on each other's hobbies is a red flag. Let people enjoy things. Tomorrow isn't promised so keep enjoying your hobbies and have fun

Why are you listening to those who really have no real control on what you do? Why are you letting them affect your enjoyment of your chosen hobby? Ignore them girl. They are the red flag. I play video games, hunt, shoot rifles, bows, crossbows, play music, 3D print, hike, fish, photography, and much more. And they have no control over what I do or when or how I do it. Your life will be far better and you’ll enjoy more peace by acting like they don’t exist.

Have you seen the average extreme gamer? Looks a lot different than the average extreme crocheter

People will always have something to say hhhh as long as you play a healthy amount of time then it's nobody's business 💁🏻‍♀️💁🏻‍♀️💁🏻‍♀️. . enjoy your little things and screw their opinions

As a PREVIOUS hardcore gamer for 15+ hours daily before I got my life together, I will say it is looked down upon because many people were wasting their lives away and not wanting to work or do anything else(these are able bodied ppl) I’ve found tons of friends online and realized they were doing the same thing, I think many of us were depressed so gaming was an escape(been told this too) We know this isn’t the case for everyone nowadays, but it is very common amongst some still.

My guess is with the hobbies you mentioned you can see the physical gain or gain knowledge or can pass it down to someone else. Gaming is all kept in a box and the memory only sits with you and the cloud. I’ve played many games myself and it’s fun but I haven’t done anything with it. Now in days you can make money off of it but the every day person who does it as a hobby would have a harder time doing that. Most who do it’s their profession.
