It Was Written for me. I saw a user say the time in life when we listened matters and I agree. I was born in 89 and the first Nas album I purchased was God’s Son ‘02 (Jay n Nas beef was my middle school bus ride, hold my cd player so my shit don’t skip era).. I didn’t listen to It Was Written until my sophomore year in college when I was like 19-20.. it’s definitely a 1 and 1a debate.
