I think I can't think about book marketing or making social media content or silly little TikToks because I am subconsciously just white-knuckling life right now until election week is over. The internalized stress I have as a woman with a daughter came out last night when I had a meltdown on my husband and told him I'd flee the country if I have to in order to protect my daughter, whether he wants to or not. I'd leave him behind for her. I think it finally clicked for him how scared I am.
