Awesome. I just checked my email and for some reason it was saying all my bill pay had been deactivated. So, I go check my bank account. It's completely empty. Zeroed out in both accounts (checking and savings). It says "legal order." And the customer service said "I can't help you with that." Around $550 dollars just gone. It was almost all the money I had left until my disability got approved. Idk what to do now. I can't put any money in that account. I can't take money out of my 401k (1/3)

I guess it might be time to sell my car? But I can't put the money into a bank account. I can't trust that they wouldn't take it. I honestly have no idea what to do at this point. I think I might have $100 in cash. And there's 30 dollars in my online high yield savings account. I'm lucky enough to have a place to live for free:

I've never had that happen myself, but that seems like the most plausible answer out of the ones I found on a quick search. I'm really sorry. That fucking sucks. PayPal and Cashapp aren't perfect either, but you could use one as a temporary bank account that's separate from your other stuff so you still have some way to receive mutual aid and such?

Banks are evil As someone who had problems getting approved for a bank account this is my advice: Walmart (Yes they are a corporate monster but so are banks). They have a pay as you go debit card that will work in most circumstances. Doesnt work for motels or car rentals but does work for grocercies and usually for bill pay. Walmart can also cash checks and make money orders which most places will use in place of a cashiers check. This is, of course, just a short term...

一天內	Two Cats Boutique twocatsboutiquetiktok	Ok so I've never heard of Discover taking money without you going to court over it if they didn't make you go to court over anything then I do not believe legally they are allowed to drain your bank account. On Monday call your legal aid for your state it will be free to just chat over the phone. Even if you have to use someone else's phone to get ahold of legal aid it will help you out figuring it all out. I personally use Chime because then I can shut off my cards so no one touches it.
