The scriptures talk about strong drink which I believe is a deeper level of fermentation. But, what's in alignment with His word is being of a sound mind. I see cigars as nicotine which the brain doesn't like, no different for certain carbs. It slows down the human machine making it difficult to use. I would say...the Living God wakes us up knowing the choices we will make. If you want clarity ask Him to convict you unto deliverance. He answers these types of prayers immediately.

How can we compare cigars and alcohol to fried chicken??? Brother if you are trying to use this to justify your behavior, please don't.

One is killing the body while the other is food for building the body, the cigar and alcohol are addictive and so you are enslaved to depend on them while Christ sets you free so that you can depend on him alone.
