I noticed that as well, and it makes me question my assumptions about her intentions in WV. First watch, I just saw her as a villain, but after episode 1 of AAA, and seeing how she see herself, I wonder. She does a lot of the same gruff, insulting mentoring work with Teen as well. And to the rest of the coven to a lesser extent; her interpreting the tests for each witch for ex. Though not Lilia; Lilia didn’t need that help, she needed someone to hurry her up. Which is what Agatha did.

Yeah that's what I noticed too. I think it's fair to assume than her thirst for power was amplified by the Dark Hold corruption (obviously she still wants power, but I doubt that under normal circumstances she would provoke the Scarlet Witch after realizing who she was). Plus, in her backstory scene, she is clearly in distress while telling her coven that she can't control her powers, she clearly isn't purely evil

(In WV) Even when they are in the street in front of their houses, just before everything goes down, I get the impression that Agatha still wants to help- yes, the stealing of power is still there- but even on the first watch, I saw that she genuinely seemed to want to mentor Wanda
