The healthcare provider should be sued because pro life laws provide exceptions for ectopic pregnancy. Even I know an ectopic pregnancy is not viable it never will be viable, so healthcare providers are not breaking any laws.

It’s not great that we have to appeal to heart strings by making hypotheticals (real life examples) about healthcare and applying it to their loved ones. It shouldn’t matter. Healthcare is healthcare and private. Maybe one day they will (unfortunately) be in a personal situation and realize what we’ve been saying. I don’t wish that on anyone, but that’s where we are.

I don’t think it’s so much that men feel it doesn’t pertain to them. I think it’s more that it’s constantly thrown in our faces that if you don’t have a uterus, you have to sit back and shut your mouth about abortion. So rather than argue and fight, it’s easier to just sit back and shut up about it 🤷🏼‍♂️

These people think this could never happen to their family. And if it did, an exception could be made. Or they could go to a different state. They know what you're saying. They don't care. What I want to know is why women are going along with this. 50%ish of the population is women and 50%ish of the population is cool with this. That's a lot of women that need to rethink.

I have so much empathy for women who must have abotions due to pregnancy complications. In fact, it happened to a close family member. I also have to say I have empathy for women who simply do not want to carry a child they did not want or plan for because they are forced by the government to do so. There are many reasons a woman or teen may want to terminate a pregnancy: poverty, age, lack of support, mental illness, physical illness and of course rape. We must have freedom of choice.

I don’t think most men view women as human. They love their daughter, wife, etc the way they love their dog. A (useful) beloved pet. If you follow their logic it’s inescapably true.

Terminating an Ectopic pregnancy is not illegal in any state. In fact any type of pregnancy where the mother’s life is in danger it is legal in all states to terminate the pregnancy. There are mothers who choose to take the risk, but it has never been illegal. This argument is based on a completely false premise
