To add even more… All our preschools were Latino. It’s very customary that if you throw a Latino birthday party, it’s automatic that everyone is invited: siblings, parents, maybe even a grandma. You feed them all. These are welcoming events. Kiddos do their thing and so do the parents. Nobody sits awkwardly 😆 Don’t know if it’s just my experience, but same rule applied to weddings. Every sibling of the bride/groom invited some friends as long as they arrived after dinner just for party 🤷‍♀️
