It all depends on how well you handle spice. My wife will eat something and say it’s not that spicy while I’m eating the same thing and absolutely dying. Of course, she grew up eating chilis on all her food

It’s more of a flavor than heat. But it’s less than 5 for me.

I prefer Sambal Oelek chili sauce for its complexity of flavors.

Less than Tabasco or Franks Red Hot. I only use it to make spicy mayo for sushi. It’s also tough to find a good one - the one that’s ubiquitous has way too much sugar.
