Thinking about my favourite childhood films (Labyrinth, Legend, The Dark Crystal, Neverending Story, Willow, Dragonslayer, Escape from Witch Mountain), and realizing just how much they influenced my formative years. I know that some people were traumatised or disturbed by some of these movies, but I absolutely loved them, and I can't think of many things that I'm afraid of in adulthood, if anything.
