Growing up in Europe we would just pick up a basic advent calendar with small chocolates inside… they were like $2ish, so adjusted for inflation make it $5. These days I can’t find an advent calendar that doesn’t have fancy toys inside and they’re all super expensive 😳 Was something wrong with chocolates? Or was this never a thing in the US?

18 小時內	Erin Meade Richards ricer8	It’s a thing in some households - Catholics, Episcopalians, Anglicans, Lutherans and Methodists all celebrate the advent season. As for the calendar plenty of stores carry them both the cheap ones and more expensive ones.
