Technically release order because I watched the original trilogy on the re release in the 90s

To be fair, when I watched them for the first time there were only three movies, and they were on TV all the time.

Well, watched episode 1 first when I was like 6 or 7. My Grandpa (RIP) took me to the theater and told me he had seen the other movies with my mother when they came out. And then he dusted of his VHS collection of the old trilogy and we watched one episode per evening.

I mean. I saw them all in the theaters when they released

Kids today can watch it chronologically. Us older kids (late 30's) had to watch it per release.

Release order. The first prequel didn't come out until I was 18.

We had what my parents taped off TV, so for years it was Empire and Jedi (plus the Ewok movies), but no A New Hope. I thought stormtroopers were droids, since I hadn't seen the one movie where it's clearly established that they're humans in armor.

1,4,5,6,2,3,7,8,9 I was 8 when Phantom Menace was released 🤷‍♀️ Queen Amidala's hair and make up captivated me when I saw the trailer. I was too young to see in theaters so my dad rented it as soon as it was available. The rest is history 😄

Doing a 4-session marathon of 11 movies in chronological order 😅 (I wanted to add Space Balls but they didn’t let me ☹️)
