This is an important lesson for anyone to learn- but especially us in the art world. Those consuming media create fandom wars and it become so toxic. When a creator becomes wrapped up in the toxicity they push away creators who could be friends and confidants to lean on for advice. Your journey will be incredibly lonely and unfulfilling if you're consumed with jealousy and others "besting" you. We need a beautiful group of friends, all of you supporting one another's sucesses.
