Our foster lad tells me he loves me every day. Every day my response is 'that's really nice mate, I really like you too'. With his future up in the air 'love' is a really heavy word, but he desperately wants to hear it. There might be a time when his future is more settled and he's with us for the foreseeable. Any views on if/when that word would be appropriate? I have my view, but wondered how it feels to the lay person?
