I actually love that Mosseri does weekly AMAs and updates. It’s a big risk, as you can see from reactions, but no other platform head is putting themselves out there like he is. Most updates from other platforms come from staff members, blog posts, or press releases. Being the head of Instagram is probably one of the hardest jobs because people are so passionate about the platform. Plus, there are so many different user bases to balance, plus the company’s own business interests.
