My wife and I learned to park manual cars differently. I learned that you leave it in gear and turn it off. No need to use the parking brake. She learned to leave it in neutral and use the parking brake. Pretty sure I'm right. Anyway, I parked it at the villa we were staying at, in front of an olive tree. The next day she got in and attempted to start it without pushing in the clutch. It lurched forward... (2/5)

I had a rental for 3 weeks while my car was in body shop. Somebody had parked along a curb that wasn’t a spot in my apartment complex and I backed into it, cracking tail light. Went to Hyundai dealer parts dept and bought taillight assembly for $150, installed myself.

I knocked the Sideview mirror off of a rental when it was dark and somebody's trashcan was in the road. I called them and they said if I can afford to replace it then they wouldn't have to file an insurance claim. As long as it's fixed. I did it myself lol longest 8 hours ever bc you had to remove several whole panels to unscrew the mirror

Why do you not want a new car? Reliability issues?
