I mean! Cos I don’t understand the harm in giving love to this kid openly. Just what if this was his only chance at a loving home, lost because of ‘technicalities surrounding permanence’. A child can and should be loved by as many as possible

They will remember you forever that way, in the best possible way. Rather than think back to their time in care as passing thru a strangers life, they will develop a bond that could last a life time, no matter how brief the placement is
