I want to replace the glass in the drawing you made for me, and I know it seems vain and narcissistic to display it, but it has more to do with how much it meant to me and where it came from. Keeping things that seem silly to others is important to me. A sentimental fool, is what it’s called. It’s physical memories. Movie stubs and wrist bands, concert tickets, napkins and tiny scraps of what you might consider trash is how I hold onto people and my past and good or bad, it’s how I hold on.
