I've told my mother I don't know if we can have a relationship anymore if she votes for Trump. I think she still will, under the assumption I'll "forgive her" or "get over it". I've not asked her to vote for VP (I have made it clear to her), but I have explicitly asked her not to vote for him, trying to appeal to her more emotional side and telling her how it will directly affect me. Maybe manipulative, but if it doesn't work when logic hasn't, I don't know what will. I dunno. Crying to the void
