4 calf exercises to prevent running injuries: 1. Isometric calf holds 2. Barbell calf raises 3. Single leg calf raises 4. Soleus calf raises It all starts with your feet. Make sure you take time to strengthen the foundation of your body. I typically do calf strengthening in every workout. Anywhere from 3-4 sets of 15-20 reps.
