In my personal opinion, Threads should not be connected to Instagram. Since joining threads just about a week ago because I finally could not stand X anymore, I have been surprised at how uplifting and free of negativity Threads is. Instagram is still full of the stupid spam and baseless innuendos that turned me off from it in the beginning.
