And here’s the thing. I knew very little about wine back then. I bought a book: Wine Folly and that was about it. I chose a theme (Favorites) and told everyone to bring a bottle of wine between $15-$30 that was based on that theme. The night was a hit! We made a few mistakes (hosting on a Monday night and drinking too much wine) but it was clearly the start of something amazing. 3/4
