My oldest is 15 years old and we kept them rear-facing until they were 4. (Which is when they asked to face forward. They didn't ask any earlier). We've known rear-facing was safest for a LOOONG time. Where has that NP been? (I've also been rear-ended while stopped at a red light going uphill. Super fun, huh?)
