I think as long as you implement mobility and stability exercises, and strengthen the joints which are being used in the heavier exercises, you should be good to go heavier.
Your concern is good, and needed too, because one injury, no matter how insignificant, can destroy your progress. But, don't let it become a mental block!🙌
