I’m gonna skip over the issue of most of these characters not being compelling as they’ve been presented in their movies and go right to… What’s with the insistence on not letting the villains be villains? I don’t mind complicated anti-hero tropes for narrative structure, but when a character history already exists, you have to do a lot of *good* narrative work to convince an audience the change works. I’m not convinced that’s been done here. Get the classic six and go fight Tom Holland.
